Visa and insurance

Visa

All visitors must have a visa to enter Madagascar.

For short visits (90 days or less), every visitor, regardless of nationality, can obtain a visa upon arrival at the airport in Antananarivo, provided the visitor's passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond the last day of the intended stay in Madagascar and has one free page for the visa stamps, and provided the visitor carries an airline-issued ticket or passenger receipt confirming the visitor's intention to leave Madagascar within 90 days.

The local organizer in Madagascar has kindly offered to help facilitate visa proceeding for GB22 attendees when entering Madagascar. If you have not already acquired a visa for Madagascar, you can send your full name, passport number, dates of arrival and departure to ranaivo_jaona@yahoo.fr and naina.ramanankierana@yahoo.fr and you should be able to acquire visa upon arrival at the airport in Madagascar.

Please notice that the local organizer will need the information by 16 September at the latest.

Insurance

Attendees are advised to make sure what insurance is requested for travel to Madagascar.
